| The 9th Meeting of the “Health Care Friendship Club” was held on July 26, 2009, at the Health Insurance Hall, TWMU. This meeting was a part of the public outreach activities of IREIIMS. The event was co-sponsored by NPO IMCRTH and supported by Ishii Food Corporation. The event was held during the summer school holiday, encouraging participation of families with children. The event was blessed by a fine weather in the midst of final days of a rainy season. There were 58 participants. There was a lecture by Dr. Satoshi Ohno of IREIIMS followed by an opinion exchange meeting among the participants joined by IREIIMS and TWMU doctors including Dr. Matsuoka and Dr. Inai. In the meantime, children enjoyed making musical instruments from empty PET bottles. The musical instruments were decorated by fancy sticker seals. They took rhythm and enjoyed music. Participants tasted organic vegetable foods of Ishii Food Corporation. “A lively stretching exercise” concluded the meeting. |
