The School of Nursing at Tokyo Women's Medical University was established in April 1998. The education of our school is based on gdignity, human right, and respect for lifeh, which should not be ignored under any social circumstances. We aim to foster nursing professionals who can empathize with people and incarnate the fundamental credo of gSincerity and Compassionh in their nursing practice, and to raise researchers and leaders who keep searching for better nursing skills.
In the two campuses, Daito Campus and Kawada-cho Campus, we are able to provide a good learning environment equipped with advanced scientific and historic properties. We develop a unique curriculum which allows students to endeavor excellence in nursing education and prepare students who can solve problems without any unnecessary pre-conceptions. We encourage students to take actions for justice, to bear responsibilities, and to have a role in the society, both within and beyond the boundaries of Japan.
