研究

当教室では、以下の主要部門に分かれて、研究を進めています。
  1. 網膜・硝子体部門：
    糖尿病網膜症、網膜剥離、増殖硝子体網膜症などの 難治性ぶどう網膜硝子体疾患に対する外科的治療法の確立、 およびコンピューター画像解析装置を応用した臨床研究。 血管新生に関与するサイトカインをターゲットにした基礎的研究。
  2. ぶどう膜部門：
    ベーチェット、サルコイドーシス、原田病をはじめとする 難治性ぶどう膜炎の基礎的・臨床的研究、新しい治療法の確立。免疫低下状態に おける日和見眼感染症の病態解明と予防・治療法の研究。
  3. 感染症・角膜部門：
    角膜ヘルペスの分子生物学的・免疫学的方法による診断・治療法の開発、 再発に関する臨床的・基礎的研究。
  4. アレルギー・ドライアイ部門：
    （1）結膜花粉症増加要因の分析、環境の変化とオキュウラーサーフェスの基礎的・臨床的研究。
    （2）アトピー性角結膜炎の基礎的・臨床的研究。
    （3）角化結膜上皮細胞の定量的評価法、ドライアイの重症度の分析、 シェーグレン症候群の臨床的研究、新しい点眼薬の開発。
  5. 斜視・弱視・小児科部門：
    不同視弱視の予後に与える因子の統計学的解析。 　　　　斜視・弱視視能訓練の評価。心因性視覚障害の心理学を含めた臨床的統計。 　　　　小児眼底疾患の臨床的研究。
  6. 緑内障部門：
    原発緑内障、正常眼圧緑内障、続発緑内障（ステロイド緑内障） の臨床的研究と外科的治療。 コンピュータ画像解析装置を応用した緑内障全般の早期診断。
